Are there any other things I could try doing to fix this issue? I would like help with this issue as well. I have a new install of Acrobat Pro and this function is not working. Has this plug-in been removed or is Windows 10 blocking it somehow?
We're using Adobe Acrobat DC , and it doesn't work with that either. Seriously frustrating Did you find a resolution to this issue?
I too have Adobe DC and am having this same problem. Our research seems to indicate it is a Windows 10 issue not Adobe. None of the fixes offered worked, and Adobe was not able to fix it. Not unlike the ribbon feature to generate PDFs. My guess, and I might be wrong here, but I think Acrobat thinks that people can start Acrobat before they wish to combine files, not unlike you have to open Word before writing a letter. We have other users that can combine files from Windows Explorer without Acrobat being open, but I can't seem to find the difference in settings.
